Rising comedian Kendall Farrell tapes his debut hour-long comedy special October 18 at Littlefield in Brooklyn, executive produced by nationally touring comedians Ashley Gavin and Rachel Feinstein.

Hailing from Vermont, Kendall Farrell is a New York City-based comedian who headlined Caroline’s on Broadway as part of their “Breakout Artist” Series and was named a “Comic To Watch” at the New York City Comedy Festival. His work can be seen/heard on SiriusXM, Cracked, Adult Swim and at festivals across the country, including the Brooklyn Comedy Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival. He regularly opens for acclaimed comics like Michelle Wolf, Rachel Feinstein, Beth Stelling, Ashley Gavin, Drew Lynch and Matteo Lane.

The special taping will feature introductions by Gavin and Feinstein, with comedian Carmen Lagala providing crowd warmup. The special will be directed by Matt Ott, who also directed Lagala’s special, Sweet Batch, which has more than 300,000 views. More recently, Ott directed Netflix’s FunnyAF finalist Caitlin Peluffo’s special, Prosciutto Rose.

The taping marks the culmination of over a decade of work building a following in both the Vermont and New York City comedy scenes.

In his early career, Kendall won Vermont’s Funniest Comedian contest and was profiled in outlets like Seven Days as an up-and-coming act, which called him “a chameleon onstage” whose “wit is as quick as the impish grin he often flashes while working a room.” Since moving to New York City, he’s performed on some of the scene’s most respected stages, including The Bell House, Comedians You Should Know at The Gutter, New York Comedy Club, UCB and Union Hall. He co-produced and co-hosted the popular show Just Come!, which Splitsider named one of the best alt-comedy shows in Brooklyn within a year of its inception.

In his debut hour, Farrell reminds people he is tall (if that matters), discusses “curious” straight guys on Grindr, being a liberal black sheep in his conservative family, and whether or not you can actually bl*w your way to the top.
